第71回(2023年度第1回)“Find-Your-Role-Model” Session 開催のお知らせ - 反田篤志 先生
We have been holding a series of events called “Find-Your-Role-Model” Session to provide students with opportunities to interact with TMDU alumni and worldwide leaders in healthcare sciences. Through this roundtable-type, relaxed atmosphere event, we hope students will be able to find their role models to help facilitate their career development toward becoming future global leaders.
We are pleased to invite Dr. Atsushi Sorita, a physician, and a partner at McKinsey & Company*1. After graduating from the University of Tokyo School of Medicine, Dr. Sorita completed his initial training at Okinawa Chubu Hospital in Okinawa, his residency in internal medicine training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in the U.S., and preventive medicine training at the Mayo Clinic in Mayo, Minnesota, U.S.A. He also received his Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Minnesota before returning to Japan and working for McKinsey & Company. He has served government agencies, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device manufacturers, providing analysis, business and marketing strategy support, and internal transformation support. He also serves as the Japanese co-leader of the McKinsey Health Institute (MHI), a non-profit organization that he provides leadership to achieve the organization's goal of extending life expectancy and improving quality of life in all regions, industries, and communities.
